We have been in a celebratory mood since our sommelier Patrick Somweber was ranked as one of Austria’s top three sommeliers by the renowned ROLLING PIN AWARDS. At the 5-star hotel in Kirchberg, Kitzbühel, he navigates our guests through 800 exquisite bins from around two dozen countries. Additionally, we raise a toast to Martin Kinast, the Falstaff Restaurant Guide 2019’s top newcomer. Under the patronage of Simon Taxacher, the Bistro-Restaurant Rosengarten’s Chef has succeeded in cooking up 90 points and 3 forks. And the awards haven’t stopped coming! The 2019 Gault&Millau Guide awarded 4 toques to the Restaurant Simon Taxacher and gave the Bistro-Restaurant Rosengarten its first 2 toques.

Simon Taxacher is in Austria’s top two! The award-winning chef so impressed the Falstaff Restaurant Guide’s rigorous judges in 2019 that they awarded him the maximum 4 Falstaff forks. ‘Top-level culinary delights make it the winner in Tyrol. Perfectly presented food, exciting textures, incredible precision and a high degree of creativity. What more could one want?’ was the verdict that earned Simon Taxacher the number two spot in Austria’s top chef ranking. This has been hugely encouraging, and we feel more inspired than ever to provide our guests with culinary artworks to delight not only Gault&Millau and Falstaff, but most of all: you!
