Generali Open brings top tennis to Kitzbühel
Be a VIP guest at the Generali Open in Kitzbühel
Summer clay-court event: the Generali Open tennis tournament in Kitzbühel has been inspiring fans for years. In 2017, more than 47,000 visitors to Kitzbühel watched the tournament when local resident Philipp Kohlschreiber lifted the trophy.
2018’s starting field includes 80 ATP titles
Austrian local hero Dominic Thiem gets to play against four former top 10 players and three Kitzbühel winners at his home event. The stars of this year’s traditional Kitzbühel tournament have no fewer than 80 ATP titles to their names. In addition to top-seeded Thiem, this year’s event starts with four former top ten players: Richard Gasquet (France), Fernando Verdasco (Spain), Gaël Monfils (France) and Gilles Simon (France). They are joined by defending champion Philipp Kohlschreiber (Germany), Robin Haase (Holland) and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (Spain) – all three former Kitzbühel winners.
