The Kitzbühel/Kirchberg ski region has won several awards as the world’s best ski region. There is a special service here for those returning to the sport and beginners: All practice lifts in the valley are available free of charge in every village throughout the ski region. The Gaisberg sports mountain in Kirchberg allows you to ski at night. The KitzSki Kitzbühel/Kirchberg ski region covers a total of seven places in Tyrol and Salzburg: Kirchberg, Aschau, Kitzbühel, Reith, Aurach, Jochberg, Pass Thurn-Mittersill and Hollersbach.

The impressively large SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental is home to slopes of all difficulties, and hosts many unique events throughout the winter season. Hahnenkamm race in Kiztbühel
